Additional Information : From the atelier of James Giles. better known for his decoration of porcelain but his glass is very highly regarded. Gilded glasswares accounted for about twenty percent of all output of the atelier. The evidence for this is within the 1774 Christies catalogue for a sale held when the assets of the atelier were sold to cover debts.
