Colour : Clear. good grey hue
Bowl : Round funnel. Engraved with a typical Jacobite closed rose bud and three rose hips. tied by a bow to a stem with what we know to be sow thistles ( used on acrostic examples) opposite a Jay in flight
Stem : Elongated diamonds
Foot : Conical. Diamont point engraved on underside of the foot 11/N W/H
Pontil : Snapped
Glass Type : Lead
Size : 13.9cm height. 4.9cm diameter bowl. 6.3cm diameter foot
Condition : Excellent. no chips or cracks

This may have been engraved to commemorate a wedding. this may possibly be of jacobite significance. the Jay may be a reference to Aesops fables and usurpation. This remains open to interpretation
