Description
An excellent and rare example of a Georgian facet cut wine glass c1770 which has a continuous field of hexagonal facet cuts starting from the centre of the bowl and descending down the stem and onto the conical foot.
English lead. no chips cracks or restoration. it measures 6 ¾ inches tall with a 2 11/16 inch bowl and 2 7/8 inch foot.
A truly great glass . an examplar of the glass cutters art. A fine and rare example.
