SOLD – Georgian OXO Engraved Facet Cut Wine Glasc c1790

Description

An 18th century wine glass with a round funnel bowl engraved with a neo-classical OXO border with petal cuts at the base of the bowl. The stem has diamond facet cuts and the cuts continue down onto the top of the foot which is conical foot with a polished pontil.

English lead. no chips. cracks or restoration.

A fine unusual example.

It measures 5 ½ inches tall with a 2 ¼ inch bowl and 2 13/16 inch foot.
