Description
An excellent Georgian wine glass c1755 with a trumpet bowl above an incised twist stem on a conical foot with snapped pontil.
The bowl has been engraved with a Jacobite rose. open bud and closed bud. an oak leaf. a “kissing star” and the word ‘Fiat’.
English lead. no chips cracks or restoration. it measures 6 ¼ inches tall with a 2 5/16 inch bowl and 2 7/8 inch foot.
