Description

A superb Georgian Opaque Twist Wine glass c1760 which has a lipped ogee bowl above a triple series mixed twist stem consisting of a 10-ply opaque spiral band. outside a pair of opaque spiral tapes with a single air spiral thread that runs the full length of the stem set between the spiral band and is quite distinct. Conical foot with snapped pontil.

English lead. no chips cracks or restoration. it measures 5 ¾ inches tall with a 2 1/16 inch bowl 2 5/8 inch bowl.
