Description
A superb Georgian Opaque Twist Cordial which dates to c1760.
It has a very small ogee bowl with flute moulding to the lower half.
The stem is opalescent glass and also features a 14 ply spiral band outside a vertical gauze. The twist coupled with the opalescent glass stem has an ethereal quality. Conical foot. snapped pontil. It stands 5 5/8th inches tall with a 1 5/8th inch bowl and 2 ½ inch foot. English lead. no chips or cracks or restoration.
