A magnificent Georgian Engraved Opaque Twist Cordial Glass c1760.
It has a rib moulded ogee bowl engraved with a continuous band of stylised flowers and foliage. A double series opaque twist stem consisting of pair of 5-ply spiral bands outside a pair of spiral tapes. A large conical foot with snapped pontil.
English lead. no chips cracks or restoration. it measures 6 5/8 inches tall with a 1 6/8 inch bowl and 3 1/8 inch foot.
