Description

A rare Georgian opaque twist wine glass c1760 with a round funnel bowl above a double series opaque twist stem consisting of a pair of 9-ply spiral corkscrews outside a solid corkscrew. Conical foot snapped pontil.

English lead. no chips cracks or restoration. it measures 5 7/8 inches tall with a 2 inch bowl and 2 5/8 inch foot.

A very rare twist combination and the first we have had.
