Description
A Georgian opaque twist cordial glass c1760 with a round funnel bowl with a solid section at the base. The bowl has been engraved with a flower and bud and an ear of barley in saltire togehter with a Jay bird. The double series opaque twist stem consists of two pairs of spiral threads outside a lace gauze. Conical foot snapped pontil.
English lead. no chips cracks or restoration. it measures 6 ¼ inches with a 1 ¾ inch bowl 23/4 inch foot.
