Bowl : Ogee – engraved with a basket of flowers atop of which sits a bird. opposite is a bird in flight with a sprig in its beak.
Stem : Double series opaque twist – a pair of spiral threads outwith a spiral gauze
Foot : Conical
Pontil : Snapped
Glass Type : Lead
Size : 14.8cm height. 5.5cm diameter bowl. 7.5cm diameter foot
Condition : Excellent. no chips or cracks – the foot is slighly uneven and the glass rocks a little on a flat surface

Weight: 131 grams

As with many engravings this has been copied from a book of designs Devises et Emblemes Ancienne et Modernes. one of many such tomes produced for engravers and porcelain decorators.
