Description
A rare Georgian cider glass c1760 with a round funnel bowl with flute moulding to the base.
Sits on a double series opaque twist stem consisting of a pair of solid multi-ply spiral bands outside a spiral gauze. Conical foot snapped pontil.
Engraved upon the bowl is an ample fruit laden apple tree and a wooden cider barrel beneath it’s boughs.
English lead. no chips cracks or restoration. it measures 5 7/8 inches tall with a 2 ¼ inch bowl and 2 ½ inch foot.
