Description
An exceptional Georgian Opaque Twist cordial glass which dates to 1760
It has a small ogee bowl with rib moulding down the sides and a fine double series opaque twist stem consisting of a pair of 3-ply spiral bands outside a lace gauze column. Conical foot with rough pontil.
English lead. no chips cracks or restoration. it has a single pin prick or tooth mark on the rim which is tiny and insignificant but has to be mentioned for accuracy…if you picked the glass up you would not even see it.
Measures 4 5/8 inches tall with a 1 7/8 inch bowl and 2 ¾ inch foot.
