This is an exceptional and rare 18th century Georgian wine glass. A heavily deceptive bucket shaped bowl is above a doubles series opaque twist stem on a conical foot. An oddity of Georgian drinking glasses this glass was designed to keep the toastmaster sober while creating the impression he was drinking full sized glasses.
