Description
A tall example of an 18th century Georgian opaque twist wine glass. It has a round funnel bowl with a solid section at the base containing two rows or air beads. Sits on a triple annulated collar and a triple knop opaque twist stem consisting of a pair of spiral tape outside a multi ply corkscrew. Conical foot snapped pontil.
English lead. no chips cracks or restoration. it measures 7 inches tall with a 2 7/8 inch bowl and 3 1/16 inch foot.
An exceptional glass with a good weight at 280 grams.
