SOLD – Georgian Opaque Twist Champagne Flute c1760

Description

An excellent 18th century opaque twist wine or champagne flute c1760. It has a trumpet bowl above a double series opaque twist stem consisting of two pairs of spiral threads outside a lace gauze. Conical foot with snapped pontil.

English lead. no chips cracks or restoration. it measures 7 ¼ inches tall with a 2 1/2 inch bowl and 3 inch foot.
