A Georgian wine glass with a double series opaque twist stem on a conical foot. Of all Georgian drinking glasses these are some of the most intriguing and prevalent. This particular example features an ogee shaped bowl with ribbed moulding above a stem with a three-ply spiral band outwith a twisted gauze. An opaque twist stem is a must for anybody wishing to collect antique glass.
