Additional Information : The tulip bowl is the rarest of all 18th century bowl shapes. This is only out fourth example of a tilip bowl with an opaque twist stem. A composite stem with a tulip bowl may be seen on plate 549, page 191 of Bickerton, the only example within Bickerton.
