Description
A superb Georgian Champagne Glass c1740 which has a large double ogee bowl with an everted rim. Sits on an air beaded shoulder knop above an eight sided pedestal stem with diamonds on the shoulders. Domed foot with snapped pontil.
English lead. no chips cracks or restoration. it measures 5 ¾ inches tall with a 4 1/8 inch bowl and 3 ¼ inch foot.
An excellent example that needs to be used. and to give you a better idea as to how it looks when put to its intended use one photograph shows the glass brimming with bubbly. Champagne not included.
