Description
A Georgian Pedestal stem champagne glass c1750
This eight sided pedestal stem has an ogee bowl with a flared rim. These may have been used as champagne coupes or sweetmeats. The stem has diamonds on the shoulders and sits on a domed foot with snapped pontil. The metal has a lovely high lead grey-blue hue.
English lead. no chips cracks or restoration
It stands 6 7/16th inches tall with a 3 7/8ths diameter bowl and 3 1/2 inch foot
