Description
A Georgian plain stem wine glass of excellent proportions c1760.
This has a beautifully simple drawn trumpet bowl above a plain stem containing an air tear. Conical foot and snapped pontil. The glass contains all the period features that collectors demand. striations. fold lines . other tooling marks and inclusions.
The foot has one small chip to the wear rim. It is 3/16th long and 1/16th inch deep.
It stands 6 1/2 inches tall with a 2 7/8th bowl and 3 inch foot.
