This has been cut with either a sintered diamond or stone wheel. The engraving is broad. matt and the cuts are very clean. The cuts are not perpendicular to the surface. the cutting edge had been presented at an oblique angle in an effort to disguise the wheel type used. The fact that this is a Jacobite style open bud confirms the technical appraisal.
