Description
A rather nice example of a Georgian Plain Stem Wine Glass which dates to 1740 with a Drawn Trumpet Bowl and stem with the stem having a lovely clear air tear. Sits on a conical folded foot.
A ‘thick stem’ giving it a much heavier feel than you would expect. A few light scratches to the bowl and a nice dark metal.
English lead. no chips cracks or restoration. it measures 6 1/8 inches tall with a 3 inch bowl and 3 ¼ inch foot.
