References : Coal mining boomed in England during the last quarter of the 18th century to fuel the steam and beam engines that powered the industrial revolution. It is also worth noting the use of double s within success rather than the archaic long s  ( ſ ) that remained in common use until the 1770s and printed text until around 1800.
