Description
A superb example of a Georgian Plain Stem wine glass c.1740
It has a thistle bowl with a solid section at the base containing an air tear. This stands above a plain stem and conical folded foot with a snapped pontil.
English lead. no chips cracks or restoration. it measures 5 ½ inches tall with a 2 5/8 inch bowl and 2 7/8 inch foot.
