Description
A very good example of a Georgian Plain Stem Wine glass c1770.
German in origin. it has a thistle bowl with a swelling at the base containing a rosette of small air tears above a plain stem and high conical foot. Such rosettes are a feature of product by Lauenstein and the Schorborner Glashütte. Altmunden and Glasshutte Emde.
It has no chips cracks or restoration and measures 7 1/8 inches tall with a 3 inch bowl and 3 ¼ inch foot.
