Description
A superb set of four Green wine glasses dating to c1800.
All the glasses contain the inclusions and striations that collectors want to see in period glass. Furthermore there are minor variations in sizes as is typical for handmade glassware. They have funnel bowls that sit on a blade knop. and angular knop and cushion knop. Plain feet with snapped pontils.
English lead. They stand around 4 7/8th inches tall with 2 1/2 inch bowls and 2 1/2 inch feet. No chips. cracks or restoration and still fit for purpose!
