SOLD – Rare Georgian Green Wine Glass c1790

Description

An exceptional Georgian green wine glass with a cup bowl above a large hollow inverted baluster knop stem with a conical folded foot with snapped pontil.

English lead. no chips cracks or restoration. it is in fantastic condition. Measures 4 ¼ inches tall with a 2 ¼ inch bowl and 4 7/8 inch foot.    

We say rare as it’s the first example we have had in 12 years of this form.
