SOLD – Georgian Regency Blaze Cut Port Glass c1810 (EBAY)

Description

An exemplary Regency Port Glass dating to c1820.

It has a conical bowl with blaze cuts above a prism cut band containing tiny diamond cuts. leading down to slice cuts at the base of the bowl. Sits on an annular knop stem with a plain foot which has a polished pontil.Lead glass. no chips cracks or restoration. It measures 4 ¼ inches tall with a 2 ¼ inch bowl and 2 3/8 inch foot.

Probably Scottish in origin.
