Condition : 2.5cm crack within the base that does not extend to either the interior nor exterior of the vase. The vase was dropped onto a carpeted floor.

Additional Information : Bacchhantes were the female followers of Dionysus in Greek mythology. As followers of the god of frenzies, festivities, spiritual ecstasy, and booze, the Bacchantes were naturally associated with revelry.
This was £3800 when purchased new from Lalique, Conduit Street London. It remains one of Rene Lalique’s most iconic designs.
