Description
A fine and rare English Gadrooned goblet c 1690 the flared bucket bowl gadrooned to the lower half.this type of decoration was developed from Venetian influences and continued to be used throughout the 18th c .the six bobbin hollow stem is another rare feature whose occurence is very infrequent .all finished off with a folded conical foot. the metal of this glass is of very good colour and texture showing flow lines and tooling marks. height 17.5 cm 6 7/8th ins.
