Richard Price Antique Clocks

Richard Price Antique Clocks

The horologist Richard Price is well-known for his appearances on The Antiques Roadshow since 1983.

Richard has been cataloguing, studying, buying and selling antique clocks for more than 40 years. His passion is for more unusual timepieces, movements automata and related items. In 1975 he founded the antique clock and watch department at Bonhams in London, where he was responsible for the valuation and cataloguing of all their clocks.

He left the saleroom in 1992 to start his own business buying and selling antique clocks. Bringing his extensive experience to bear, Richard also undertakes all valuation work and his business handles all types of restoration and repair.

As a very highly respected horologist, Richard has been engaged as one of the specialists on the BBC’s ‘Antiques Roadshow’ television programme and he also lectures on many aspects of horology

We are delighted that he has agreed to come on board with us, and are looking forward to being able to hear the soothing sounds of clocks as they tick throughout The Pantiles Arcade. If you are looking for a horologist near me and live in the South East of England then you know where to find us.
