Decoration : Concentric rings in black and red surround a transfer printed image of the “Tunbridge Wells Walks” – now known as the Pantiles
Size : 10.2cm diameter, 2.4cm height
Condition : Excellent, some wear to the paintework, print still crisp and clear
Restoration : None
Weight : 22 grams
Possibly the work of George Wise in Tonbridge. The Walks / The Pantiles is an appropriate theme for a gaming tray when you consider that the Spa attracted gambling dens, brothels and other forms of debauchery and continues to be dominated by alcohol sales to this day
