Decoration : Central mosaic and border with geometric stickwear including van dyke triangles and keylines. Similar decoation to side panels. Interior lined with padded velvet.
Size : 24.4×19.5cm, 7.8cm height
Condition : Very good – there is a stable crack running through the centre and a little rubbing to the back panel. Otherwise minor age related wear. Lacks Key. This once contained dividers internally, these are absent.
Restoration : Interior relined
Weight : 747 grams
Almost certianly the work of George Wise from his early, Burrows influenced, adoption of inlaid marquetry.
