The “rock crystal” style of cutting whereby every pary of the deep cut intaglio image is polished ws developped by Kny and Fritsche and used by palme and others of repute. In the late 19th century the designs were far more intensely carved. This design is in the art nouveau. We believe that the glasses predate the introduction of the Webb acid etched mark in 1905
