Description
A superb Enamelled Beaker c1900 which has a flared bowl above a solid facet cut base. The enamelling shows forest. castle and hunting scenes with deer and men on horseback in period dress. Probably from Steinschönau (Kamenicky Senov) in North Behemia. Earlier examp;pes from the 19th century from Lobmeyr Vienna and Moser in Karlsbad are highly prized. We are of the opinion that this is not from either of those factories however. it is still a very aesthetic piece.
No chips or cracks or restoration. it measures 5 ½ inches tall with a 4 inch bowl.
