Heading : A Biedermeier type cased glass beaker. most probably Judaica
Date : 1880-1900
Origin : Germany – Bohemia
Colour : Cut to clear with cobalt blue casing
Foot : Radial cut with the Magen David at centre ( Star of David)
Glass Type : Soda
Size : 11cm tall. 8.5 cm bowl and 6 cm foot
Condition : Excellent. no chips or cracks. Some kiln soot within the glass
Restoration : None
Weight : 237 grams
We believe the decoration on the bowl to be stylised Lulav ( palm fronds) and this to be a piece of Judaica. Seventy pounds will this be quite appropriate. one for each of the date palms at Marah.
