This has proven to be something of an enigma. This is of exceptional quality. especially for moulded glass. Indeed. it took us a while to find the mould lines as the piece has been hand polished to remove the seam lines and flash lines. The thickness of the glass indicates that it may well be American. but we have not been able to definitively attribute a geographic origin nor factory to the glass. It could have been made by TG Hawkes. Hoare and Company. or just as easily Fenton; all of whom were making high quality press-moulded drinking vessels
Wherever this is from it was built to last by high quality craftsmen. and will serve well for decades to come. This is a realy heavyweight and extremely tactile.
