SOLD – Four Bohemian Engraved Baluster Wine Glasses c1860

Description

A set of four Bohemian engraved baluster wine glasses c1860.

These are a homage to the Georgian baluster glasses that command a kings ransom. They have bell bowls above a plain stem with a shoulder knop. and baluster knop at the base of the stem. The feet are domed with smooth polished feet. They are substantial glasses and weight 12 oz ( 300 gms) each. The bowls are engraved with an armorial with scrolling foliate decoration.

They are very useable glasses and will adorn any dining table. No chips cracks or restoration and the wear on the bases is commensurate with age.

They measure 7 inches tall with 3 inch bowls and 3 ¼ inch feet.
