Description
Victorian W. H.. B. & J. Richardson Baluster Goblet c1860
It is always pleasing to be able to identify a manufacturer of a fine glass. The bowl has petal cuts that meet an annulated cushion knop. The stem is a hollow inverted baluster that is petal cut. The underside of the foot has been star cut. This will outshine any modern large wine glass and at a fraction of the price. English lead and no chips or cracks or restoration. It is 71/4 inches tall with a very generous 3 3/8ths bowl and 3 3/8ths foot. Very tactile.
