A stunning wine glass laden with history. In 1660 King Charles returned from exile. his safety having been ensured by the boscobel oak. Tyrean purple and amethyst have been associated with royalty for centuries. The bi-centenary of the restoration did not go unmarked. there were church services to commemorate this despite the lineage between Charles II and Victoria being Stuart to Hanoverian. This is the contemporary inspiration for this commemorative glass
