With a resurgent interest in early styles Whitefriars and others produced glasses in 16th century Venetian and 17th and 18th century European styles during the late 19th and early 20th century. These are large wine glasses in the style of 16th and 17th century Dutch and German “roemer” glasses. They have capacious bowls and are very vibrant and very tactile.
