19th Century Apple Green Glaases c1880
A full set of six Victorian drawn trumpet sherry or port glasses. Apple green bowls and stems above a conical feet . snapped pontils. Perfect for the festive season. We have two complete sets available. twelve glasses in total. A dining set in Regency and Victorian England would have had 12 of everything. In modern less extravagant times a set of typically six will be required
English lead. no chips cracks or restoration 4 1/4 inches tall with a 2 1/4 inch bowl.
A fine set perfectly suitable for modern use. Green wine glasses are highly decorative. This sets would lend itself well to dessert and fortified wines. port. madeira. sherry or marsala. Or they may be used for more modest quantities of wines than one would usually expect in the monolithic modern buckets that purport to be wine glasses.
