Description
A superb set of Six Victorian wine glasses c1880. Flared conical bowls with prism and slice cuts to the bowls and hexagonal central knops. High conical feet again with prism and slice cuts. They owe their existence to the Italian renaissance where this style evolved in Murano and was transferred to the world.
They measure 5 3/4 inches tall with 2 7/8 inch bowls and 2 ½ inch feet.
They could be used for port or madeira and a” wee dram”. English lead. no chips cracks or restoration.
