Stem : Hollow baluster above an annular cushion knop and hollow annular knop. The applied detailing consists of three ribbed shells
Foot : Saucer
Pontil : Polished

Size : 5 1/16 inches tall with a 4 7/8 inch bowl and 3 9/16 inch foot

Additional Information : This piece is certainly unusual and we found the ribbed shell detailing to be rather appealing. Research has unearthed many variations on the theme. although Thomas Webb & Sons registered the design. Note the sharpness of the points on the claws and the even splay of the join. This is almost certainly Webb
