Fruiting vines are one of the most common of all engraved designs on English glassware. The glass is clear and quite bright. There was a resurgence of interest in georgian style in the early 20th century. a general rejection of elaborate Victorian style. This reached its zenith with the clean lines and highly geometric designs of the art deco.

The same form of glass was still being produced by Webb in the mid 1950s with deco engraved designs by Irene Stevens.
