Heading : A 19th century English glass rummer
Period : George IV- Victoria 1830-1850
Origin : England 
Colour : Clear . good hue
Bowl : Lipped cup with applied annular band
Stem : Capstan
Foot : Low conical
Pontil : Snapped
Glass Type : Lead 
Size :  11.0cm height.  8.7cm diameter bowl. 7.3cm diameter foot 
Condition : Very good. There is a large piece of clinker trapped within the annular band and another in the bowl
Restoration : None 
Weight: 230 grams 

There were so many copies made of this mid 19th century style during the first thirty years of the 20th century that it is a real pleasure to have some genuine 19th century examples. These were an attic discovery in Cirencester.
