SOLD – Pair Large Victorian Engraved Glass Rummers c1880

Description

A superb pair of substantial Victorian rummers.  The round funnel bowls are engraved with fruiting vines. The hollow knopped stem stands on a single cushion above a plain foot with polished pontil. Probably Hodgetts Richardson manufacture. identical forms without the engraving are attributed to them. These are substantial glasses and very tactile.

They stand 7 inches tall with 3 3/4 inch bowls and 3 9/16th inch feet. English lead glass. no chips or cracks or restoration.
