Stem Features :  Two knops over a drop knop. Inside the lower hollow is a Victoria silver 3 pence piece dated 1866
Foot : Domed with thickened rim
Pontil : Polished

Size :  29cm height, 15.1cm diameter bowl, 13.9cm foot 
Condition : Excellent, no chips or cracks 
Restoration : None 
Weight: 1224 grams 

We have read that in order to create the ruby gold glass the glassmaker would throw on part of a clipped gold sovereign. It is a good job the the sovereign did not replace the silver coin otherwise the glass would not be here today
