A simply superb Victorian wrythen moulded green vase c1885 which has six detailed lion masks applied to the sides. This is documented feature of production from Thomas Webb & Sons and the Woodall team in particular. The factory was based at Amblecote and produced some of the finest decorative glass and cameo glass of the late 19th century. This is quite stunning. it has a fantastic refractive quality and plays with the light as you move past the piece.
English lead. no chips cracks or restoration. it measures 5 inches tall with a 5 inch rim and 8 ¼ inch base.
